Okay, so maybe he doesn't actually refuse to fix my computer. He's still the sweetest computer dweeb I have ever known. We have attracted a cancerous computer virus. No, you won't get it, I am in "Safe Mode". Curt has taught me many things about computers and their many faults.
A few weeks ago, while I was on Facebook, I noticed a few things were acting funny and I asked Curt to take a look at it. He thought I was being funny and ignored me.
As with all things ignored, it got worse. I have had the hardest time logging into anything without 100 windows popping up.
Here comes the Hero... almost.
He does all that he can to fix this thing, but it has taken over all of the Firewalls, spyware detectors and every precaution that we have.
If you see anything come up as AntivirusPro 2009. DO NOT TOUCH IT! It looks like Windows, Tastes like Windows and IS NOT WINDOWS!!!!
So, here's what's next. Download all that we want to keep (10,000+) photos and software and delete the hard drive and start from scratch.
"Hail, Curtis, King of the Mellor Computer-dom, son of Lawrence and grandson of Francis and Anthon. Leader of the Great Children of Mellor and spouse of the Glorious Shellee of the Porter Realm. May he live in Glory to defeat the Antivirus of Pro, in the year of 2009."

Somehow we ended up with the same background--did I copy you or did you copy me? Who knows! I guess we both have good taste!
OH! Kyle would not be happy with me right now if i messed up my computer. good luck! I'm on facebook too, I will have to look for you.
We had a computer problem a month or two back. It's kinda refreshing to wipe the HD and have a fresh start. Let me know if you need to borrow an external hard drive for a couple days.
This is why I love having a single computer savy brother, I make him dinner and can get him to fix just about anything I have a problem with. I hope you get fixed soon!
Get ready for the kids, Shellee. When Karla lived here, I scrubbed the hard drive about every six months, so we always had things backed up. Your post does make me glad, however, that I use my Mac more than my PC.
Oh, Shellee... I had a run-in with AntiVirus 2009 myself. It SUCKS! My dad ended up taking my laptop back up the mountain and having his IT guy take a look. I have no idea what Jordy did to fix it... but fix it, he did. And I have never been happier to have a pop-up free machine. It's horrible... I'm hoping that by now you're all straightened out and back to normal. :)
Hey Shellee, where did your thankful and booklist go???? I liked those!!!!
