In my huge effort to find "Christmas" this year, I found out that I was trying too hard and looking for the wrong thing.
I have found it. You guys give wonderful advice! You thought of something I hadn't thought of: prayer. For some reason. it didn't occur to me that I should pray for Christmas to be in my home.
I thought I should change my attitude about this season. That I would say yes to everything that came my way and volunteer a little too.
Here's what I did and didn't do.

Did:

Played the piano for Ward Christmas pageant
Learned 2 new songs on the piano
Played through O Holy Night a thousand times
Went to the Train park with friends and rode the train twice!

Singing loud for all to hear
Made Cinnamon ornament names for friends
Watched ELF about 4 times
Read everyone's Christmas Cards and Blogs
Fix up toys to give to others
Sang with the Ward Choir for Christmas Sunday
Prayed for my friends that moved away, so close to Christmas
Read A Christmas Carol 5 times, saw 3 different versions on DVD.
Got a package from my brother (in WA) for my parents and wrapped it to take to them
Wrapped Christmas presents
Bought Alyssa her Christmas Dress and her first pair of high heels. (she wears a 6 1/2 in womens (she's 9 yrs old!))

I watched it for the first time on Monday and I LOVED it! TV has gotten so blah for me lately that I was excited to finally see a show I loved.
I am angry that it's going to be cancelled.

I think of little scenes in it and just start laughing.
I was driving the kids to school yesterday morning and a scene popped into my head and the kids thought their sad little mother had finally lost it!
I tried to explain, but I couldn't do it justice.

I think I'm getting closer...

I have always wondered what it would be like to go to the store and buy a bunch of stuff that you need (and want), but pay very little for it!

2 Lo-Carb Monsters (I know... I have already heard the lectures)

I just need little change. I know, I know; I got rid of Weekly Gratitude and Booklist. I don't feel bad about it because I will start the booklist over in a month anyway.
When I downloaded the new background, it erased everything but my posts. I wanted to downsize the page anyway, and this took care of it for me.
"Sorry" to those who enjoyed these things, but I did add Christmas Music! I love it.

Ugh... computers... and a husband that refuses to fix it!

Okay, so maybe he doesn't actually refuse to fix my computer. He's still the sweetest computer dweeb I have ever known. We have attracted a cancerous computer virus. No, you won't get it, I am in "Safe Mode". Curt has taught me many things about computers and their many faults.
A few weeks ago, while I was on Facebook, I noticed a few things were acting funny and I asked Curt to take a look at it. He thought I was being funny and ignored me.
As with all things ignored, it got worse. I have had the hardest time logging into anything without 100 windows popping up.
Here comes the Hero... almost.
He does all that he can to fix this thing, but it has taken over all of the Firewalls, spyware detectors and every precaution that we have.
If you see anything come up as AntivirusPro 2009. DO NOT TOUCH IT! It looks like Windows, Tastes like Windows and IS NOT WINDOWS!!!!
So, here's what's next. Download all that we want to keep (10,000+) photos and software and delete the hard drive and start from scratch.

Happy Birthday Mom & Welcome Home Dad!

I have to say a huge "Amen" after what my sister Jenny wrote!

For those of you who don't know, but last Monday night, my Dad had another stroke. Uuuggghhh!

I was made aware of this on Tuesday morning and halted all plans for the day, dropped Hayden off at Sarah's and spent the rest of the day with Dad. Mom and Jenny were there already and it really hurt me to see my him in this way. He started joking with the nurse and it immediately entered into my heart that everything was going to be alright.

For instance, he asked if his grandkids could come in an visit him... ALL 29 of them! I loved the expression on her face, that was so funny. She didn't get that it was a joke at first until Mom, Jen and I started laughing. I think from then on, they knew that we were not a serious bunch of people. BUT we did kind of attack the poor nurse when she wanted to give dad an "optional" sedative before he went down for an MRI and he had already said he didn't want it. Poor nurse!
We must have seemed a little Bi-Polar!

We took Jen's Wyatt to see him and then the next day took Hayden and Wyatt. He loves all of his grandkids and loves to watch them grow!

Curt and I took the kids to see him on Halloween in their costumes and we could tell that he liked that a lot.

All together, I really liked spending time with him and My mom.

Dad came home from the hospital on Saturday Night and seems to be feeling a lot better! Maybe this stroke reverse some of the damage from the first one! We can always hope!

My Whole Name is: Shellee Sue Porter Mellor
Three Famous People? Amelia Earhart, I would want to know what happened and what motivated her. Julia Child, hello... food! And I know everyone says this... Emma Smith. She had so many trials and so many blessings...I would like to learn from her.

Is weinerschnitzel still your favorite hotdog? What would your favorite drink be?

Yes, Der Weinerschnitzel is my favoite hot dog. Not just any hot dog there, but the Kraut Dog. My mom got me hooked on them when I was little and I searched for years for a DW. Now I have one down the street!
My favorite drink is: No surprise here... Hot Chocolate. Mmmmm. I love winter, because with it comes Cocoa! There is nothing better in the world to me.

#1-Who is the weirdest person, celeb or not that you have had a crush on (prior to your marriage of course)...I know you gotta have one, everybody has one.....Tell us! #2-If you could eat one meal for every meal, for the rest of your life, what would it be?

My weirdest crush: Hmmm... Celeb wise would be Colin Firth, but what's the surprise in that. But Mamma Mia ruined that for me.
In the Real World: Jens Dunford, Mesa High, Class of '92. He didn't know I existed. I don't think I ever told anyone before now. Oh, he was part of the "popular-jock" crowd and always dated a cheerleader, but there was something "geeky" about him. He drove a small truck and I remember everyday getting to school and looking for it to be there. I would stand in a certain place everyday because he walked by but never said Hi.
One meal for the rest of my life? Let go for a type shall we? Seafood. Except Octopus, Squid, things with tentacles.

I've only known you since you got engaged to Curtis. So, what were you like in high school? A cool girl, band geek, student council, a bit nerdy? I'm guessing you were popular and highly involved, but I'd like to hear your story.

Ha ha. My high school story. I was NOT part of the popular crowd, but everyone knew who I was. I wasn't shy, but I wasn't overbearing either. High School was just school to me. I lettered in Golf, and Acapella Choir. I took Gourmet Foods, Anatomy and Physiology, and AP English. I liked my teachers, but there wasn't anyone that stood out. I didn't belong in any one group, I wasn't Trendy, Mod, Stoner, Jock, Band-geek, or any of the other groups. I was me, and I was okay with not being labeled. When I had a boyfriend (and there was more than a few), I hung with his group and they always accepted me. But, I hung out with everyone and was very sociable with everyone. Being alone never really bothered me either, I would find something else to do. I wasn't really nerdy, or cool. I just kind of floated through my classes and made friends with all of those around me. The cool kids probably thought I was nerdy, but then again, the nerds probably thought I was cool. .

What one thing do you regret more than anything?

I regret not listening/trusting my parents when I was a teenager. I told them enough, but I know they still don't know a lot of the trouble I got into and it was because I didn't listen to them. My parents still don't understand me, and I think that it all comes back to that.

What do you think is your greatest failure?
How do you feel the Atonement has been most influential in your life?

Wow, what a loaded question! My greatest failure....so far? I am after all only 34.
Only one thing? I don't know. I'm pretty easy going, and so if I fail at something, I usually try to find a way to learn from it or I figure that Heavenly Father gave it to me as a trial and helps me get through it.
I would have to say, my health. In this area, I fail constantly. I know that I should be better about working out and eating the right foods for me, but I just don't have it. So, in most areas, I feel good about myself, I am working towards different goals, and my health isn't one of them. I have a difficult time losing weight (due to 3 different disorders) and I use them as a reason to say "Why bother, it won't come off anyway". But I'm not dead yet, and I hope this will become a triumph soon.

The Atonement. What a wonderful blessing. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to be married in the Temple, have an eternal family, have such a good attitude about life and death and I know that I have a Heavenly shoulder to lean on. Here is my view on the Atonement. Life Happens. Free Agency is a gift. Christ gave us the ultimate gift of repentance through the Atonement. We have to be vigilant not abuse these gifts. We can do the best we can, but we are merely human and need the "Godly help" of the Atonement to help us get the rest of the way.
We aren't perfect but He is, and therein lies the help we need. We are given trials and temptations. We struggle through the trials and avoid temptations that lead us away from our Celestial Family. I know that trials come and sometimes we make the wrong decision. For these times, I know that there is away back. It helps me start each day with a song and with a hope that I can be just a little bit better.
With regards to those around me, the Atonement helps me see through other's trials and to remember that we are all trying to return to God. It helps me see some people in a different perspective; to be just a little more kinder, a little more forgiving, and a little more compassionate. There is not one person who has not needed the Atonement and it's just one more thing that brings us all together. I have seen the blessings of repentance in my own life and in the life of those around me. I see every person as a Child of God "with potential" to be so much more.

Holy sniff-o-rama!

I was at Lindsey's (my sis-in-law) house getting my hair cut a few weeks back and got hit by the best smell!!! She had the coolest "not-candle". These are something that I saw at the Women's Expo in April and haven't been able to find them since... until Lindsey told me about them and that she had them. It's called "Scentsy - Wickless Candles". But they aren't candles (they are electric, NO fire hazard!). They are scent bars that you use for the day and when you feel like you want a different scent, you pour the unused fragrance back into the container and get out whatever scent you want next. These things are awesome. I get so tired of my GC candles so quickly that they collect dust until I feel like smelling that scent again. Like I said before, you can change them all the time and they are so much more inexpensive than Gold Canyon. The bars are $5.oo a scent... and they last better than GC ! I LOVE THESE!

October Break

Holy Cow! We had the best few days. First of all, Curtis's Birthday was on Thursday and Alyssa's was on Friday. The kids were also out of school those days so we had a blast.
My friend, Sarah has a membership to the Science Center so we went on Thursday. They have remodeled the third floor into a digital age theme. There was a camera that showed your face on the screen with all different types of features. I took pictures of those and they turned out really funny. There was also a screen that you stood behind and you could put your arms up and it would dump (on the screen) balls down on top of you. You could catch them and dump them on others.
We saw the Narnia exhibit which was really cool and I think I annoyed Sarah with how much information I shared with her. I have read the whole Narnia compilation of books and love them. She bought the book with all the stories in it for her son Brayden to read. He was still in school, so we went without him.
We looked through the body area and saw a presentation about digestion. At the end of it, the presenter gave us all coupons for free pizzas to Peter Piper Pizza. So... we had that for lunch.
That night, Curt and I went out for dinner while Sarah watched our kids. It was his birthday, after all, and so we went to Joe's BBQ for his free meal.

The next morning, for Alyssa's Birthday, we went to the Phoenix Zoo. My little sis, Jen, and her 3 kids came with us. I had so much fun watching her kids get to know Sarah's. Her two oldest and Jen's two oldest are the same age and got along pretty well. Aaron was the big kid in charge of the boys. So... Cole, Aaron and Brayden played together and goofed around. Alyssa, Kiley and Brecken played with each other. I got to give Wyatt a ride on my shoulders. I love that kid... he chattered on about everything. I am amazed at his intelligence; he knows all kinds of stuff. What an awesome group of kids.

That night, we sat around and ate Bacon and Eggs for dinner and Alyssa opened her presents.

Then, last night (Saturday night) we went out to dinner with Sarah and her husband Cam. We went to Chevy's and used their wonderfully cheap coupons for our dinners. It was so good. Since we had no kids with us, we headed on over to Best Buy so I could do some Christmas shopping. While we were there, Cam got us involved in RockBand which Mike Reynolds is obsessed with, and now I understand why. It was SO MUCH FUN!

Globe Trip

Oh, what a weekend. While ya'll were watching Conference, we were in Globe at Curt's 20th High School Reunion. We went to the Homecoming Game (which was an intensely awesome game at the end), ate wonderful BBQ and hung out with Curt's buds from Globe High, Class of '88.
Aaron and Alyssa quickly became friends with all of the kids their ages and ran around the whole night. The kid you see with Aaron is Zeke, he's Hector's kid.
We watched some of Conference on Sat., but went to take a tour of the high school and out to Chalo's with a big group of classmates. We became fairly good friends with some of them. Hayden especially loved Ellen Beydler and thought she was a nice substitute "auntie". We shared a lot of stories, one of which my guilible husband was influenced to almost start the chem-lab on fire. It's a great story, I'll share later.
Curt and I really appreciate the work that Kristen, Mela and the rest of the crew did to make this a fun time.

On Sunday, after conference, we had a "mini-party" for Curt and Alyssa' Birthdays. Grandpa Mellor pulled out his helium tank and filled up some ballons for the kids, including the oldest kids (yeah, Curt, me Kristin and Jeannette are the older kids). The big joke was that was repeated a few times and we still laugh about it was "Grandpa's going to share his gas with us!" Ewww-hahaha. Reminded me of Grandpa's Last Fart... Thanks Whit, that will forever be in my mind.
I love that the cake was only partially frosted. Why is it that I thought of Cakewrecks and how it's not as bad as it could have been? We had a great time and really enjoyed our time with Curt's fam.

Not my friend anymore!

So ends my Sunday Morning love affair with my curling iron, AND I offer my apologies to anyone I may have been "not-so-bright" at today.

I was using my hairdryer (the retarded one that doesn't start up again if you turn it off), and I knocked my curling iron on the floor. I didn't pick it up because I thought that it was way off to my right. I stepped forward. OOOOOWWWWWWW!!!! Aaron thought that I sounded like Goofy when he falls off a cliff.

Yep, I stepped on it. Curt went and got an ice block from the freezer so I could finish doing my hair. What a nice guy... until he laughed.

Here's the problem, I had to accompany the ward choir this morning... and use the sustain pedal... with a burned foot/toes. I totally messed up. (apologies to those in the choir)

I then had to play piano in primary. Everytime I used the sustain pedal, I had shooting pains up my leg. I won't be wearing shoes anytime soon.

I won't post what my toes and foot look like, because I am afraid to look.

Hayden... I am your Mother. Noooooooooooo!!!!

I fear that I may have lost Hayden to the "Dark Side". I wish it meant that he liked Dark Chocolate (Mmmmmm...)! But, Nope... I am not that lucky.

The very day that Clone Wars came out, I reluctantly let Hayden see it with Curt and Aaron, the other dark-siders. Then, on Labor Day, they took Alyssa (my sweet, innocent, darling daughter) with them to see it again. She is not dark-siding, but isn't avoiding it anymore, like I do. I was hoping that one of my boys would be immune to the pull of this.

So, this morning, I came out of the back room to find this.



But, never fear, as I was searching for something else to watch... I came across Polar Express. Oh, thank you Tom Hanks and your wonderful choo-choo train! You have saved my day and maybe my son's future! I Believe, I Believe, I can hear the bell!!!!!

Ward Campout without pictures.

We had our ward campout last weekend and it was the first time in 10 years that we went. Curt goes to Fathers and Sons, but as a family, we rarely hang out in the woods together.
I was going to get some pictures, and as I started out, my camera died! I had charged it a few days before, but I think I left it on accidentally and so, I got one picture. It's of Brooke's Husband and Son, so I will pass the picture onto her to post.
We had a funny conversation around the campfire about comdians. Some people didn't know some of the names, but here's one guy that we mostly agree on:



We had fun even though Curt ended up getting sick! Aaron stayed behind to go to a friend's birthday party and stayed with my parents. He really liked it there!

The Best Date

I love spending time with my sweetie and I decided last night to use up a gift certificate... at Sapporo Japanese! It was my month to plan and surprise!

We had never eaten Teppan Yaki and so it was a new experience for us. We loved it and the whole experience. (Hint... Future Site of a Group Date) Curt ordered the Sea Bass and Filet while I had the Scallops and Filet Dinner. We also ate Sushi, my new favorite food. I love Hawaiian Rolls and Alaskan Rolls.

Then we went to the IMAX theater in Phoenix to see Batman: The Dark Knight. I had a very hard time with some of the scenes. No... not the violence (though I had moments there too). It was everytime that they showed something from great heights. I freaked at one of the scenes that was shot from a skyscraper.



Then off to one of my favorite after movie and dinner places: The Cheescake Factory!
Curt ordered his usual: Original Cheesecake with sliced bananas and hot fudge while I enjoyed this!



It's the Chocolate Tuxedo Cheesecake and it was mine! All Mine! Whmmaaa haa haa haa!

I can't wait until next month's big date night. It's Curt's turn to plan!

Awesome Storm

For those of you who live outside the valley, this is what we endured last night.
IT WAS AWESOME!

This is a tiny portion of what we saw in our home. What you hear is the heavy rainstorm. Don't worry this is taken from Alyssa's open window.

The newscasters said that this was the most violent storm that the
valley has gotten in quite some time. When I checked the news at 10,
the lightning strike count was well over 10,000 strikes. There were
three waves: First, just lightning strikes, cloud to cloud. Second,
Rain and cloud to cloud lightning. Third wave was extremely dangerous
with massive rain and cloud to ground lightning. The Weather Channel
had a scroll across the bottom telling anyone outside to seek shelter
immediately. Here's the dumb question... If there is a severe
thunderstorm warning, do you grab the TV and go outside to watch it
until they tell you to seek shelter? Kind of a Duh...

Be afraid...

But not of this...

ER and Airplanes

Okay, so we spent Sunday evening in the ER... without our kids. Curt and I have been in the ER more times than most people I know.

About 5:30, Curt was working on his RC airplane and I heard "Oh Crap, Oh Crap" so I went to go check it out. I thought at first from the tone of his voice that a kid had been hurt. Oh, I say "nay-nay"... Curt was hurt and badly. He had his hand over his arm and was telling me he cut himself. He showed it to me and I ran to get a cloth to put over the cut, no...the GASH! So I yelled at the kids to get ready really fast so we could take dad to the ER. Then, I called Mari Ashby (our wonderful, loving, generous neighbor) and told her what had happened, she met me in front of our house to take the kids. (Thanks Mike and Mari, they had a blast!!)
What had happened was that he was checking the back of the plane and the propeller had started and hit his arm. These airplanes ARE NOT toys and there were some safety precautions that he could have taken, but he forgot for some reason and had sliced his leg 10 minutes before this (just a small slice in his leg). So when the propeller had hit his arm, he actually thought it was his toe that was bleeding and then saw there was a puddle of blood under his feet from his arm. That's when he freaked.



On the way to the ER, I called 911 and told them that we were on our way and they needed to have someone meet us to get him in. The operator was ready to dispatch an ambulance and I told her that we were nearly there, but to notify the hospital. They met us at the ER doors and took Curt right back. Once we got back there, Curt was in shock and ready to pass-out. He was pale and green (I've only seen his this way a few times) and knew that he was going to "get sick" and then passout. They put him on a gurney and a Dr. came in right away to check him to see if he had hit an artery.

They cleaned the would and it measured 3 inches log and 1 to 1 & 1/2 inches deep. The Dr. said that he came as close to hitting an artery and muscles as anyone can get without getting into real trouble. He had 10 internal stitches and 8 staples on the outside of his arm. We sat and waited while he had color return to his face and for them to "observe" him for 1 1/2 hrs.
I have had it with Emergency Rooms for a while.

We finally got him out of Banner Desert and then had to pick up the kids and head to Walmart for his perscription and medical changing supplies.

Believe it or not, they didn't give him drugs so this smile is ALL HIM!!!

I asked him if we could call his plane "The Widowmaker", he didn't think that was very funny.

I also asked them if I could take a picture of the wound and the Dr. stapling him back together and said no and that I was weird. I told him it was for the blogpage and he laughed. Curt's reply? "She's obsessed".

Why? Why? Why?

I can't wait for this movie to come out! I was so happy that I would only have to wait until November, BUT then the stupid movie studio decided that it was in THEIR best interest to wait until JULY!!

I was so looking forward to this one too! I'm not looking forward to the end of the movie since they have a tendency to follow the books in "events".
I guess I will have to pad Stephenie Meyer's pockets with my Monthly Movie Budget instead!

After the noises...

Hayden and Aaron have decided that they LOVE spinning on the floor! After the noises Aaron made, we thought it best that Hayden check Aaron to make sure that Aaron still had clean underpants!!!

Hidden talent!

We have discovered many, many things we like about our new flooring! Aaron just discovered that if he lays flat on his stomach he can make not-so-gentlemanly-like sounds.

First day of school!!!!

The kids started school on Monday and I was happy to reclaim my home. After a summer of computer time, playing with friends, XBox marathons and a little swimming, the kids were ready to go back! Aaron has Mrs. Marr (5th grade) and Alyssa has Mrs. Freestone (4th grade) and they are so happy with the teachers they got. They seem like awesome women/teachers!

I was able to spend Monday with Awesome Alison from Utah and her just as wonderful sister, Sarah. Alison is a hairdresser and I asked her how to cut Hayden's hair. She stopped by my home on the way to the airport and gave Hayden a cute hair cut. (I will attempt to cut it myself in a few months but for now, I leave it to the professionals. Thanks Alison!) Anyway, we went out to lunch to TC Eggingtons and then I showed Sarah one of my favorite places to buy clothes for my kids. ($10 for a complete cute outfit!) What a great first day of school!!!!!

Men and Women's Brains

I love blonde jokes. I think that they're hilarious. I have never been a blonde, so they don't apply to me. YOU, however, probably have had your moments of blonde-ness. Kimmie will appreciate these jokes, even if you don't.

I went into Aaron's room after hearing a funny noise and found this. He
loves tools. Power tools especially. He thinks that Curt's airplanes
are his toys and thinks that screwdrivers are the best. Don't worry, he
doesn't get them often and screams when we take them away and hide
them.

Only in Arizona...

We had a vicious micro-burst in the East Valley that did a lot of damage to homes, trees and cars. I talked to one of my buddies who lives where this happened and she said that it was scary to be there. I was a little jealous because I love rain and scary thunderstorms and we hardly get rain where we live.
These are unedited and are the changing colors of the sky, as seen from my home. These pics are only minutes apart, but the sun started setting in the second one.

Okay, so I will admit it. I just got back from vacation and put my pics on the computer. I then noticed that everytime white was in the photo, it was halo-ed. I'm not very happy about it, but wondered what the problem was.



Some little child (one of mine, not sure which) placed a lovely fingerprint on the lens. I am tempted to have the fingerprint analyzed so I can discipline accordingly OR maybe I should check the lens for fingerprints next time!

Curt sent me an article about photos and getting the correct lighting. Thought it was interesting. Check it out!

Not Twilight...

Sorry guys, I am not posting the Twilight Trailer. Instead I am posting the movie trailer that I am really waiting for. I loved the books (City of Ember, The People of Sparks, The Prophet of Yonwood by Jeanne DuPrau). If you haven't read them, please do. As for me I hope that the movie follows the book's storyline.

When the family gets together...

We had our Porter Family Reunion in Greer from the 12th to the 18th. We had such a fun time.
It rained everyday that we were there, mostly in the evenings. Three of the mornings we woke up to sun, but that disappeared usually around lunch time. I loved it.

I was happy to see my siblings and their families. I haven't seen my sis in law Tiffany and her kids since the last reunion and she had never met Hayden before. Hayden loved his cousins, he had so much fun with them. Anyway, there are 28 grandkids from 10 - 6 mo, with one more due in Sept. (Good Luck, Mimi!) With tons of kids to play with, my kids were in heaven. Aaron hung out mostly with Nate, Harley and Cole. Alyssa hung out with Sarah and Aubrey. I hung out with mostly the older kids (Yep, I have yet to grow up).

I gotta tell you ~ I had so much fun with my nieces and nephews. We ended up playing late into the evening on most nights and I learned some new games, and even made up one of our own. Thanks guys for the Phase 10, Killer Uno, Quiddler, Apples to Apples (Sensual - Firefighters are hot!) and Busted. Too bad I didn't have time to whip your buns at Mafia. Next time, guys, next time...just you wait and see...a deal has been made...Match~Cover. Hehee!

We played a "down-south, phonetic" version of Quiddler. Here are some of the funniest ones that we came up with:

There were two really super funny stories that I have to share.

Spencer was getting tired of his little sister bugging him and so he showed her how to fish.




"First, you cast your line, then you drop to the ground really fast and try to hide from the fish, if they see you, you'll never catch them." While he was down there, he found some mint and actually enjoyed laying there. We later saw a water snake near there. Ew.


Jeffrey told Wyatt on the last day, "You go hide and I'll get the 'apples'". So they hid under the kitchen table after Jeffrey stole some Nectarines.





We all rode the merry-go-round and some of us got hurt by it. I was clipped in the back, Alyssa was hit in the head, and some got hit in the legs and I think someone got it in the mouth. But it was fun for most of them that rode it, I did, and I didn't think it was very fun at all. I though it was a little freaky. Megan has the video so she can blackmail me someday.




We came home a day early and had a nice trip home. Now we can finish the floors that we couldn't finish before we left.

We were supposed to have the new floors done before the reunion. We were going to finish them on Thursday (the 10th), but instead we had a huge monsoon storm that hit and ended up bringing everything in off of the front porch. We weren't able to finish the 3 ft. that we had left and we couldn't leave everything important outside while on vacation, so this is what we came home to. Uggggg! It is driving me crazy. Hopefully we can finish them tonight, but don't they look nice? (At least what you can see of it.)
