Enchanted

So I had never seen this movie until I bought it... I was told by numerous people that it was a wonderful movie!
I HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Kidding! I thought it was so cute that I could watch it until I puke!

The best part was searching for all of the other references of Disney movies! I found a list...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Disney_references_in_Enchanted

They missed a few things, one of which is at the end of "That's How You Know" when she does the head bobbing thing. It's from Snow White when she is dancing with the dwarves.

Aaron loves the scene where Pip is miming to Edward about Nathaniel. Here is that clip,

Also, more at the Kitchen Sink!

Hello?

I know that it sounds like a Lionel Ritchie song, but I really would like to know who is looking at my site! I LOVE comments, so if you have them, share them...

Also, I am sorry that I have been non-exisistent to some of you. It is not on purpose, I am merely involved in painting my home FINALLY! I have been begging Curt to let me do it for 7+ years and he has finally agreed. When I am done, you are more than welcome to come check it out.

Back to work...

Wow... am I really?

Hey Geniel ~ No wonder we are such good friends!

You Are...Elinor Dashwood!

You are Elinor Dashwood of Sense & Sensibility! You are practical, circumspect, and discreet. Though you are tremendously sensible and allow your head to rule, you have a deep, emotional side that few people often see.

I am Elinor Dashwood!

Take the Quiz here!

This is my favorite Jane Austen Book (along with the movie)! How insightful this quiz is!
Thanks Whitney!

Aaron is as of 5:30 a.m. a 10 year old! How did this happen? I blink... he's 3, then 5, then 8, now 10? Really? That fast?
Fuzzhead was his nickname when he was just a little dude.

I Love You Aaron!

Happy Birthday to..........ME!

Yes, today is my birthday and I am officially 29 and 60 months old! (For the mathematically challenged, I'm 34.) I have learned some things and so because everyone else does it, here are 34 things I have learned.

1. Birthdays are best when you share them with your friends and family. (Thanks Em and Whitney for the candy. Dark Chocolate with Raspberry... yum, that's a true friend! Thanks Liz for a fun mom's group!)

2. Most of the time, you can't smell your own "morning breath", except if you've eaten mexican food the night before and that it probably won't be the only smell to eminate from your body that day.

3. I did like being in 3rd grade, I got my best grades in third grade and my teacher Miss Clark loved me. (She's Mrs McCasland now, and yep she's still there at Franklin).4. Emily Campbell was right, after 30 you really do learn what is going on and where you want to go in life. Thanks Em.

5. Being a mom is the most important job that Heavenly Father will ever let me have... other than being a great wife. I get to raise my kids, but I get to keep my Curtis, forever!

6. Annie is a great movie, I just can't draw worth beans. ( Here's my Annie that I drew when I was a little girl.) Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I'll draw better tomorrow, ah heck! forget it...

7. I do pretty well when it comes to answering "Who Wants to be a Millionare". Oooo, Oooo, me! pick me! My kids are amazed by how much I know. Just call me "Cliff Claven."

8. I have learned that not a lot of people remember who Cliff Claven is... (Cheers, the TV show? Ah come on, really?)

9. I officially graduated from Kindergarten... I loved my teacher then too.

10. This ponytail was never really in style...
11. I have also learned that the yellow pants-suit that I was wearing never was either...
12. Nor the Unicorn earrings that I was wearing...
13. and that I think my mom ignored me when I asked, "does this look good?"

14. ...That "oh boy, I 've got joy" really is a weird song...
15. I don't look good in red bandana fabric...
16. Even through it all, I loved being in Calico Kids, I felt important...
17. My kids are amazed at the songs that I know, they are even more amazed when I sing at them.

18. I learned in high school that I have a great voice and nearly perfect pitch, thanks to Mr. Garrett, and I really haven't shared that with many people.

19. I have also learned that I really should sing in front of others more often, I haven't done it as much as I should, but hey, I'm a chicken.

20. I have a great memory, everyone has always told me that, but until I worked for the post office, I thought people were just trying to be polite.

21. I have learned that I was an interesting kid. This is a paper where we had to state what freedoms we have... If you can blow this next photo up, you will read that the next to last line says, "Freedom to Disco"...

22. I was also food obsessed, because it also talks about food on this paper, TWICE!

23. That I was a really cute kid and I know that my kids take after me... This is when I was two and you can see a little bit of Hayden, Aaron and Alyssa in me... Still don't know where Hayden gets the blond hair!

24. I still have the Freedom to Disco. I Just try not to do it to much in public.

25. I love the color green and want to live somewhere that people don't consider rocks "landscaping".

26. My favorite food depends on what is in front of me, whether or not I am pregnant, and who I am with. Chalo's being right there at the top, though.

27. I think that the most comforting sounds in the middle of the night are Curt's snoring, Aaron sleeptalking and airplanes flying overhead.

28. I like the smell of gasoline and orange blossoms, not necessarily together, but I like them just the same.

29. For my "last meal" I would eat (stomach willing) chicken saltambocca from Buca diBeppo, lamb and steak souvlaki from My Big Fat Greek Restaurant, a kraut dog from Weinerschnitzel, chiliean sea bass and crab/shrimp cocktail from Steamers, bean and cheese burrito from Chalo's, Shrimp chow fun and sweet and Sour pork from Best Hong Dining, a tuscan rib-eye at Macaroni Grill, and corned beef and cabbage from Fibber McGee's. But would still drink water cause I wouldn't want to ruin the taste of the food.

30. I HATE WATERMELON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care what everyone says! I do not like them sam-I-am

31. I love my parents because they chose me on this side of the veil and I chose them from the other side, so it was a mutual agreement.

32. I can fold my tongue in half lengthwise, something not many can do... Curt and I went to Ripley's in California, and they have you look into a mirror to try and then when you walk around the corner, you find out it's a one-way mirror and look at others trying to fold their tongues. I didn't look stupid!! I can do it!

33. The Ricky Schroeder Fan Club doesn't exist anymore... Note: The Ricker Co., Inc. hahahahahahahahahahaha34. I learned that coming up with "34 things that I have learned" while being tired, is harder than I thought.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
