Christmas Tag

WELCOME
to the Christmas edition of getting to know your friends.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper! Gift bags aren't as fun to tear up!

2. Real tree or artificial? Artificial with lights, but we always add extra for fun!

3. When do you put up the tree? December 1st, why put it up later only to have to take it down so soon.

4. When do you take the tree down? Whenever I get to it...

5. Do you like eggnog? Yes, It reminds me of bubble gum ice cream.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? Miss Piggy doll from my sister, hence Miss Piggy at Halloween.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yep, a few of them, but want the Fisher Price Little People one.

8. Hardest person to buy for? My father in law and my mother.

9. Easiest person to buy for? My husband, just get him RC airplane parts

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? Nothing.

11. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail, have to support my friends at the PO!

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Year without a Santa Claus! (Yeah! Heat Miser!)

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Usually Summer, but I'm done around Thanksgiving. Already finished this year.

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes, 'nuf said.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Cocoa with Whipped Cream

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree? Both

17. Favorite Christmas song? Angels we have heard on High (lots of memories).

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? It depends on whose year it is. This year we'll be in Globe.

19.Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Even the ones that don't fly? I can name the eight in the Rudolph song (plus Rudolph and Olive).

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? Angel.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Open sibling gift on Christmas Eve, save the rest of later, Augustus.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year? Snowbirds and pushy sales people.

23. What I love most about Christmas? Temple trip with kids to see the
lights and movies. Reading the nativity from the Scriptures, and don't
mean just Luke 2. Christmas Carol.

"Christmas
is the strangest holiday there is! What other time of the year do we
decorate a dead tree with lights that may or may not catch fire, hang
up socks for someone to put stuff in (aren't they for wearing?) and
teach our children to wait up for some old fat guy to break into the
house, eat our cookies, drink our milk (which costs double what we pay
for gas per gallon right now) and bring delusional wild animals who
think they can fly?" I think I'll stick with the Nativity Story this
year.
