Calling all friends...

I need your help!

Please send me ideas that will help me find "Christmas Spirit"!

I am having a really hard time finding it this year.

I am putting the tree up today, have read The Christmas Underpants, will be starting my annual read of The Christmas Carol tonight and will be going to Zoolights on Saturday, but I could do so much more!

If you know of things to do, places to take my family or just any idea, please share.

HELP!!!!!

My wonderful, sweet, helpful friend has gotten me addicted!
(yeah, I mean you... Sarah "4 kids" Burnett!)

DOES ANYONE READING THIS HAVE OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS

PUSHING DAISIES

ON DVD THAT I CAN BORROW?!?!??!?!?!?!!?

I watched it for the first time on Monday and I LOVED it! TV has gotten so blah for me lately that I was excited to finally see a show I loved.
I am angry that it's going to be cancelled.

I think of little scenes in it and just start laughing.
I was driving the kids to school yesterday morning and a scene popped into my head and the kids thought their sad little mother had finally lost it!
I tried to explain, but I couldn't do it justice.

Please let me know.

I think I'm getting closer...

I have always wondered what it would be like to go to the store and buy a bunch of stuff that you need (and want), but pay very little for it!

Here's the list:
10 jars of peanut butter
6 large boxes of Cereal
4 large Cinnamon jars
3 rolls of sausage
2 packs of Crisco sticks (3 sticks per)
2 large jars of applesauce
2 Lo-Carb Monsters (I know... I have already heard the lectures)
1 huge barrel of Nesquick
1 Crisco spray
1 large package of Mini-Marshmallows

Cost: $25.37

So, am I getting closer?

Sometimes....

I just need little change. I know, I know; I got rid of Weekly Gratitude and Booklist. I don't feel bad about it because I will start the booklist over in a month anyway.
When I downloaded the new background, it erased everything but my posts. I wanted to downsize the page anyway, and this took care of it for me.
"Sorry" to those who enjoyed these things, but I did add Christmas Music! I love it.

Curt is the leader of our family. He's a computer nerd and computer fixer extraordinaire! He is a lover of airplanes, 'nuf said. You'll find him on Saturday mornings up with the sunset and out at the flying field with RC airplanes and a nice sunburn.

Shellee is a straight-talking, Mama-to-all. I'm a foodie, a bookworm, and a seamstress-in-the-making. I love my Crazy Farm. If you smell something good coming from my home, you're welcome to come in and have a taste! Once you're my friend, you're always my friend.

Aaron (Buddy, Fuzzy) is 14 and growing... really growing (upwards and outwards!) He loves running, riding his bike, hanging with friends, and his little brother. He's fabulous with his younger siblings and is seriously funny.

Alyssa (Lissie, Lou, Peapod) is 13! She's a great combination of all things fun. She's in Jr. High and loves it! She's an artist at heart with an imagination in soul. Best babysitter... EVER!

Hayden (Tate, Tater Tot, Three) is 6. He's our comic-relief. His little brain is always on the move, quickly followed by his body. He's very passionate about his wants. He's a follower of Aaron and thinks that he can do anything, but pick up after himself. He's the alien with blonde hair. Who knows where that came from?

Olivia's our surprise 4th child. She's 2, she's adorable, she's a miracle. She has a spirit that touches everyone she meets. She was born in July at 33 weeks. She has Spina Bifida, but that's not stopping her! She's well cared for by all of the family members. She has a really cool looking scar on her back and a shunt in her head. She's perfect for us! Better watch out though, she has a wheelchair and knows how to use it (especially going over toes!)

I'm so tired that...

* I didn't turn on the laundry dryer, when I came back in 2 hours to fold it, I thought the dryer was broken because the clothes were still wet. I started to cry until I realized that I just forgot to push the ON button.

*Hayden got 3 baths in one morning. He didn't say a word because he loves swimming in the tub. Funny kid.

* I didn't remember what order people left the house in the morning. I was mad at the older kids because they were late for school. It was 6:30, they weren't up and ready!~ (Their school starts at 9.) Oops.

* I forgot how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

* I got the kids up and ready for school... then woke up; it had been a dream.

* I wanted chocolate and settled for bread, I didn't have the energy to find the chocolate I'd hidden.

* I couldn't remember the word "spoon".

* I changed Olivia's diaper, then Hayden, then Olivia. I couldn't remember if I'd already done it. Better safe than sorry.

* I forgot to rinse my body and hair when I got out of the shower, then couldn't figure out why there were bubbles on my towel.

* I left one contact lens in...ouch.

* to put deodorant on. I'm sorry to all those who smelled me that day.
