Totally Blog-worthy.

We had the best, yummiest, most delicious pizza tonight.

Curt was done with work super late, so we decided to go to Daphne's Greek, but they were closed (early, I might add).
So, to their loss, we went next door to
The pizza that you are seeing above is THE Tuscan Mushroom.
It's not pizza for the kids, ya'll.
You might want to leave the kids at home for this one.
Sure, they have the traditional type, but it's NOWHERE as good as their gourmet ones.

AND
on Tuesday, they are buy one, get one free.
Can I tell you how happy that makes me?

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNG!!!!!

This one was so good, I lost all my thoughts.
It's called the Casablanca.
Play this one again, Sam.
And again, and again, and again ...and again.

We ended the dinner eating Apple Pie Pizza.

I want this next time, for there WILL be a next time.

It's the Provence.
I SO want this. I drool just looking at this!

I am Mystic

You Are a Mystic

You are an island. You don't need anyone else to make you happy.

And though you see yourself as a loner, people are drawn to you.

Deep and sensitive, you tend to impress others with your insights.

You also tend to be psychic - so listen to that inner voice!

Your strength: Your self sufficiency

Your weakness: You despise authority

Your power color: Maroon

Your power symbol: Hammer

Your power month: July

Thanks Missy for this idea. You are awesome and I hope you had a great birthday!

All you need is Love!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!

I got up this morning and made my kids pancakes and eggs. I do it a little differently than most. I use a squirt bottle to outline the shape of a heart with batter and let that cook until bubbly, then I fill in the heart with colored batter. Yes, I play with my food. To make the eggs, I do the same outline as before, just a little wider. Then, I pour the egg in the middle. They love it.

AND

I know that today is a wonderful day because my kitchen is clean, the kids' rooms are clean, the dishes are done and the laundry is clean and put away.

I show love by doing service for other and today I was shown love from my family in the way that they helped me!

Update: My health is improved and getting better everyday. The Dr. had stopped the bleeding, but it came back the next Monday and got worse during the next few days. He put me on a double dose of birth control, and that did the trick. I am having exploratory surgery on the 25th to see what is really going on.
Today was the best I have felt since the beginning of January. Hallelujah!!!!

I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped me by bringing dinner, coming to hang out and keep me company, phone calls, and understanding about my INSANE hormones. Thank you.

Na na na na na.

They say it's my birthday. Nanananana. It's my birthday, whooo, yeah.

Okay, so I like my birthday. I am 35.
I remember when I was a little girl thinking that 25 was SOOO old and crusty.
So, what does that make me now? I'm ancient!!!!

I have to post this though, it's my favorite version of the birthday song.

Next...

So, I went to the Dr. and had an ultrasound. They said my uterine lining was thick, but only in places. I have mountains in my uterus. (Sounds a little cool. It made me think of the beginning of The Grinch who stole Christmas, where they explain that Whoville is on a snowflake. Well, I'm better than that, I create mountains!!!) Stinking uterus...
He thinks that I should continue on my current regimen of bedrest and medication. Bedrest until Friday morning so that they bleeding stops a little more, but I have to take the medicine until next month.
I also found out that my blood count was super low.
I'm not having a lot of pain, so it's not that bad. I'll keep you posted if anything changes!

Here's what's happening.

Okay, If you really want to know the gory details of why I'm on bedrest, you can ask me in person. If you don't, here's the briefing. I'm bleeding, and clotting, really bad; have been for about 3 weeks now. I actually have some good stories out of this experience. I have an ultrasound on Wednesday to see what the problem is, but for now, they have me on medication and in my bed.

The nicest part of this?!? I can stay in bed alllllllllll day and not feel even the slightest bit of guilt for not getting anything done.

AND

Derek and Julie had a sweet baby boy on Saturday. His name is Daniel Joshua Hale Mellor. He's so cute. I forgot my camera in the car, so I'll post that later.
Congatulations!!!!!
